nursery ideas?

We're still not totally sure where we'll end up living since there are quite a few things up in the air... but wherever it is, there will be a baby room.

There's not very much variety out there when it comes to baby stuff. If you haven't had occasion to look, you wouldn't know that there are a couple standard themes, or variations thereof: blue, pink (both liberally mixed these days with brown), and animal (either Noah's ark, barnyard, or jungle.) I'm probably over-simplyfying this, but I've been to a couple places... and this is all I really see.

Although, Maggie and I were out this weekend and saw two very cute new things: stylized monkeys and Dr. Suess!! I loved the monkeys... they weren't very obvious or cartoony or cutsey. And of course they were orange and light blue; one of my favorite color combos!!! We'll see, but I like that the best so far.

What I'm really here for, though... is any ideas or other places I should be looking for ideas or bedding. I've already had a couple of great ideas: Wind In the Willows, Charlotte's Web, Where the Wild Things Are... send me some more!!

The stores don't tend to stock many options. We bought our stuff online. We have been very happy with Lambs & Ivy (cute designs, good quality, & excellent customer service on the 1 item that had issues.) We bought our stuff through http://babysupermall.com/ as they had the biggest selection. Good luck!

I of course, still vote on Where the Wild Things Are. I already have doubles on all the action figures.....so even thr monst...rugrat...baby can have a set.
